Milani Magadla, Madison Starkey and Celyn Godfrey (who all dance with Carmen’s School of Dance) participated in the Friendly City Dance Festival in Port Elizabeth towards the end of June and each achieved an arrage of Double Gold, Gold and Silver. This was the first time they have been able to compete in front of a live audience since lockdown, and they most certainly made the most of the opportunity. Special mention goes to Madison who made the top five finalists in the U12 Pre-Junior Ballet Championship. Well done girls!
