Our Grade R class visited the Heidekruin/Leeuwenbosch Dairy last week, where they revelled in the exciting adventure of exploring the farm environment! From Mrs Cross driving the tractor and the children jumping in muddy puddles, to feeding the chickens and picking fresh carrots out the veggie garden, the day was filled with much laughter. The pupils also spent time feeding the calves, and ended off the day with a picnic where they enjoyed their own bottle of milk, cheese and fresh veggies provided by farmer Craig and Dina. What a wonderful experience, thank you Heidekruin/Leeuwenbosch Farm!
