As part of the Youth Day celebrations and to acknowledge a very important day in our country’s history, Councillor Dawson attended the Oakhill Prep assembly yesterday to hand over two cricket catch nets and several cricket balls to Stefan Weyers – Director of Prep Sport. Councillor Dawson acknowledged the importance of our youth who will be tomorrow’s leaders. He also officially invited Oakhill to the Council Chambers, which we gratefully accepted, as this will be a fantastic opportunity for our students to better understand what happens in our local municipal offices.
Oakhill will use this equipment very effectively to assist the huge focus on Cricket at Oakhill.
