Colour run for a good cause

Yesterday, the SkyVibe Knysna Colour Run was held on Leisure Isle and a portion of the money raised from ticket sales will be donated to Knysna Animal Welfare Society (KAWS). In support of this initiative, the Oakhill Interact Club not only got involved in selling tickets but also hosted one of the colour stations at the colour run.

A small but very dedicated group of Interact students got into the spirit of ‘pink’ and immersed themselves in spreading some colourful cheer for all the runners and walkers who took part. It was a most enjoyable morning of community spirit and involvement, and hopefully, some much-needed funds were raised for KAWS, who continue to provide an invaluable service to the animals in our community. A heartfelt thank you to our Interact students who gave of their time to assist!
