Oakhill College hosted two very successful workshops on Saturday 19 September during the Oakhill Arts Fest. The morning started with a drumming session, led by Knysna’s Drum Café. Students, teachers and visitors were captivated by the interactive drumming and rhythm workshop and had great fun not only learning a new skill, but also celebrating community spirit. The renowned Leon Starker followed with a singing workshop where Oakhill and visiting students learnt a lot more about vocal cords and choirs! Leon has been the conductor of the Pro Cantu Youth Choir for over 10 years, during which time it has achieved numerous international accolades.
