Enormous thanks to the many professionals, business people and institutions that participated in Oakhill College’s first Career Day on Friday. With a host of over 36 speakers as well as representatives from 7 different training institutions – students were fortunate to have a plethora of choice. They were inspired by Engineers, Lawyers, Doctors and Animal Behaviourists, to Designers, App Developers, Journalists, Financial Specialists, Entrepreneurs and Adventurists, and many more. Guest speakers kindly gave up their time to share each of their career experiences, as well as entrepreneur Scott Picken who also addressed both students and parents. Well done to Julia Warren supported by parents Milly Adams and Joyce Hughes, in putting this enriching experience together and their enthusiasm in planning for next year already.
