Well done to Jessica Turpin, Grade 6 pupil and dance student from Uné’s Dance Studio Knysna, who took part in the South African Championships of the Performing Arts in Rustenburg during the September holidays.
Jessica joined the Western Cape team and entered 8 dances: 6 x Solos and 2 x Group dances, in the Contemporary, Jazz, Open, Freestyle, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Ethnic sections. Jessica even choreographed one of her solo pieces herself.
Jessica was been chosen to represent the South African Team to compete at the World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles California in 2024.
