Oakhill was delighted to host the National Children’s Theatre Group this morning, who performed the matric set-work Shakespeare, Anthony and Cleopatra. This professional acting troupe wowed us two years ago with their production of Coriolanus. It was great to have them with us again, and very beneficial to the Matrics to see the text on stage as it was intended. Their question and answer session after the show also enabled students to fully understand central issues and character decisions – all of which contribute to the effective learning of the play.
