Aimee Canny finishes this season ranked first in the country in her age group in the 50m and 100m Freestyle events at the SA Aquatics Junior Nationals, and has been chosen as a member of the SA Junior Elite squad. In addition to her two Golds, Aimee also achieved a Bronze in the 50m Breaststroke, and a silver in the 200m Breaststroke.
